“The medical staff was egregiously, egregiously understaffed,” said the attorney. “They lacked sufficient personnel. There weren’t enough stretchers. They didn’t have enough defibrillators to resuscitate everyone whose hearts stopped beating.”
The event is being investigated by the Houston Fire Department, Houston Police Department, FBI, and other organisations. “We are heartbroken for all who were lost and touched at Astroworld,” Live Nation said in a statement.
