- All to know about the OnePlus Buds Z2 can be found right here.
- The OnePlus Buds Z2, the successor to the original budget proper wireless option, the OnePlus Buds Z, has been announced by OnePlus.
Even though it looks nearly identical to the Buds Z, the Z2 has several new features. The most significant new part of the new earbuds is ANC or Active Noise cancellation.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is only available in white, with a black variant set to be released early next year. The earbuds are equipped with the same 11mm dynamic drivers as the OnePlus Buds Pro. In addition, there is now ANC, which the brand claims will help to cancel out unwanted external ambient noises.
Each earbud is powered by a 40mAh battery, while a 520mAh battery powers the case. This translates to 38 hours of battery life, with users getting 7 hours of juice on a single charge with ANC turned off and 5 hours with ANC turned on.
The brand’s Flash Charge technology allows for 5 hours of battery life on the buds plus the case after only 10 minutes of charging.
Other features include a low latency of 94 milliseconds, Bluetooth 5.2, Dolby Atmos support, and a three-microphone setup for better audio reception during calls.
The earbuds are also IP55 water and sweat-resistant, while the case is IPX4 rated. Google Fast Pair is also available, and three sizes of ear tips are included in the box.
Customizable gestures will be available on the OnePlus Buds Z2, but you will need OxygenOS to access them. On the other hand, other users can do so with the HeyMelody app, which allows for the same customizations.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is now available in the United States, Canada, and Europe. They are currently priced at USD 99 (approximately Rs 7,546). They may be priced similarly when they launch in India alongside the anticipated OnePlus RT, the event for which is expected to take place soon.
