- During a royal tradition at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, Queen Elizabeth shared an unseen photo of her great-grandchildren.
On her way to awarding The Queen’s Medal for Music to concert organist Thomas Trotter on Wednesday. Fans of the Royal British family noticed a family portrait sitting on one of the tables in the background that was partially blocking a handbag.
Despite the handbag obstructing the view of these keen observers, Queen Elizabeth could be seen smiling from ear to ear while Princess Charlotte sat on her lap in the photograph. Their grand grandchildren Prince George, Peter Phillips’ daughters Isla or Savannah, or Zara Tindall’s oldest daughter, Mia, were also in the frame, as was the late Prince Philip.
According to media reports, the photo was most likely taken in 2016, when Princess Charlotte was just over a year old, and the other royal babies were two and six.
The Queen was attending at the christenings of 2 of her great-grandsons, August Brooksbank also Lucas Tindall, at All Saints Chapel into Windsor Great Park final month.
Queen Elizabeth was briefly hospitalized on October 20 but has since recovered well. She is reportedly doing “far better” also “looking forward” to her Sandringham estate’s annual family Christmas gathering. On the other hand, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be joining the royals in Europe for the Christmas celebrations.
